The Spartan Boosters Club is holding a raffle to raise money to support Spartan athletic teams. The prizes are:

IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR CATHOLIC SCHOOLS!
Ohio legislators have submitted proposals to expand Ohio's school voucher programs and create new ones, allowing Ohio
families to direct their children's state education funding to the school of their choice.
House Bill 136 recently passed out of the House Education Committee!
The next step is a vote in the full Ohio House
of Representatives and then in the Senate. This "Parental Choice and Taxpayer Savings" (PACT) Scholarship (House Bill136/Senate
Bill 128) is an income-based voucher program that would include prospective St. Peter's School families and would also include
families who now have students attending St. Peter's School.
If you have recently contacted your legislators in support of this bill, thank you! Your action is helping the bill make
progress! Please continue to write, call, email, or meet with your local legislators. The legislators you elected need to
hear your story about how scholarships would help your family and community.

CONGRATULATIONS to all 2011 graduates who are members of St. Peter's Parish! We will keep each of you in our
thoughts and prayers as you enter a new phase of your life, whether it be in college or the work force.
Specific to the SPHS Class of 2011, some impressive lists below!
More good news, too, is that the SPHS Class of 2013 is heading in quite the same direction, evidenced by the
recently published State of Ohio, OGT (Ohio Graduation Test) scores. The OGT all-pass rate (five test sections) for
SPHS sophomores this year was 87.5%! Individual section pass rate scores were Reading 100%, Writing 100%, Social
Studies 96%, Math 94% and Science 90%.
Dedicated and committed teachers, involved parents, and parish and community support make all these things possible!
Thank you to all who are involved in the lives of St. Peter's Parish and St. Peter's School children!
ST. PETER'S CHURCH - JUBILEE OF ANNIVERSARIES CELEBRATION
The St. Peter's Jubilee of Anniversaries Centennial celebration began Friday, May 13, with the Ice Cream Social.
Events will be highlighted in coming months through the SP website, the SP YouTube site, links to WMFD and Mansfield News Journal, and with
the distribution to parishioners of the Centennial Commemorative Booklet.
