The goal in the Development Department is to build a sense of spiritual bonding, community, friendship, and commitment. A result of achieving that goal will be financial support.
The Development Department oversees three significant areas of fundraising which include:
- The Monsignor Edward C. Dunn Foundation for Education
- The Annual Tuition Drive is a request for unrestricted gifts to help with financial aid to St. Peter's school families and instructional expenses. This fund helps to provide and maintain programs for all of our students. The ATD begins each school year with the Alumni Phon-a-Thon in the early fall, followed by requests to parents, parishioners, and friends.
- The Capital Campaign “Fulfilling the Promise…Facing the Future” is entering the third year of a three-year campaign. Through this effort, we have made significant improvements across our 10-acre parish/school campus. In addition, a substantial down payment has been made on over 30 acres of land (formerly Firefighters Field), now called Spartan Field - St. Peter’s Athletic Complex. As of early September 2007, we have received $734,736.45 in pledges towards our goal of $1,000,000 from 434 donors.
