The goal of the Development Department is to build a sense of community and commitment throughout St. Peter's Parish
School family. The results of achieving that goal will be evidenced in lasting friendships and financial support.
The Development Department participates in fundraising through:
The Monsignor Edward C. Dunn Foundation for Education is St. Peter's endowment fund which serves as a means of insuring a
revenue stream to St. Peter's School in perpetuity. Currently, 5% of the market value of the assets of the Foundation is
directed to the support of teachers' salaries annually. During its 25 year history, the Foundation has distributed
over 1.2 million dollars to St. Peter's and in the past five years, over $750,000 to our Parish and School. Through
the 20/20 Program of Planned Giving, the goal of the Trustees is to have assets of twenty million dollars by the year 2023.
The Annual Tuition Drive is a request for unrestricted gifts to help with financial aid to St. Peter's school families.
The ATD reaches out to alumni, parents, parishioners and friends, through direct mail, the annual Alumni Phon-a-Thon and
individual solicitations. Each year many of our families are given a much needed hand-up with this tuition assistance.
Capital Improvements efforts are routinely made, which support and enhance the goals and mission of St. Peter's Parish
and School.
