MINISTRIES

Dear Parish Family Member,

“Many Hands Make Light Work/Ministry” is a favorite saying of mine. In my past ministry, I have found people wanting to be involved with their parish. We are a large parish, but I truly believe we can continue to have personal touch with all those we meet.

Below is our Parish Directory, which lists the many activities and ministries which are offered here at St. Peter’s as well as the names of those who are coordinating them.

I know that no one can do everything…but I do believe that everyone can do something. Please look the activities/ministries over, take time for prayer and make a decision to get involved or more involved. Being part of an activity will also bring you closer to others in our Parish family.

May the Lord continue to bless you, your family and our Parish Family.

In Christ,

Fr. Tony Borgia
Pastor

Welcome to St. Peter's

Our mission statement says: "We, the St. Peter's Parish Family, called by the Spirit to holiness, strengthened by Word and Sacraments, strive in our different ways to participate in the mission of Jesus, to share His Good News, pray together, serve others, teach, and be a witness of His healing love to all people." Our Mission statement invites, encourages and challenges all of us to be part of the Mission of Jesus Christ in our world today. Christ is experienced through our Sacraments, Scriptures and God’s people…you and I. All of us need to seek where we are called to become active. No one should be excluded, everyone should sense belonging. It would be “great “ if all we HAD to do was to attend Sunday, give our financial support and walk out until the following Sunday…but this is not the reality. We, because of our baptism need to be who we are, Christ's presence in our family, parish family, community and world today. Give a call to one of the contact persons listed in this directory…you’ll be glad you did. It will make a difference in your life and that of our parish family. Also, please read the weekly church bulletin and various newsletters for additional news about meeting times, activities, or new programs.
